It’s that time again – the Monroe Fall Raffle! We are sending home ten raffle tickets (2 packets of 5 tickets each) with each student, which you can purchase yourself or sell to friends, family, or the broader community.
If every student sells their 10 tickets, we can raise over $25,000 for Monroe!
You also have a chance to win great prizes, including two grand prizes of $500 cash, just in time for holiday shopping! Other prizes include gift certificates to a variety of museums, activities, shops, and restaurants in the bay area.
How does the raffle work?
- You may sell an individual ticket for $5, or 5 tickets (one whole packet) for $20.
- Have the purchaser fill in, remove, and give you the right-hand portion of the ticket(s).
- The purchaser keeps the left-hand portion of the ticket(s).
- Tickets may be purchased with cash or check made out to “Monroe Elementary PTA.”
- Place the filled-in portions of the tickets with the appropriate payments in a sealed envelope marked PTA Raffle and return it to school in the weekly folders. Or give it to a parent liaison, PTA member, or staff member.
- You can also purchase tickets online!
When is the raffle drawing?
The raffle drawing will be held at the Monroe play yard at noon on Sunday, October 19th at 2:00 pm during Fall Fest, so you have almost a month to sell your tickets. You can turn them in at school by Friday, October 18, or drop them off at Fall Fest, or purchase additional tickets the day of the drawing at Fall Fest. You do not need to be present to win.
Where can I get more tickets?
Send an email to monroepta.sf@gmail.com to request more tickets. Include your child’s name and teacher and they will be sent home with your child. You can also get additional tickets from our parent liaisons, Cathy Lan and Angela Calderon, or online here!
Can I donate prizes?
